Silent Hill HD patch only for PS3?

Konami has announced that a patch for Silent Hill HD Collection has been released for download via PlayStation Network, but that plans for an Xbox 360 version of the patch have been cancelled due to technical issues and resources.  The patch is due to fix frame rate issues as well as audio-synching and other reported issues.

The only available comment from Konami was: “Konami apologizes to any players who are continuing to experience these issues on the Xbox 360 version.”

It seems a little unreasonable that they are not willing to spend the money to fix the issues within the Xbox 360 release and that apology will not go down well with Xbox 360 gamers.

All the guys here at Gamedot would love to hear your opinions on this announcement.
