THPS HD now on XBLA

 

 

Tony Hawks Pro Skater HD makes its way on to Xbox Live Arcade today and looks to give fans the classic skating experience once again.

Pulling together the highlights from THPS 1 and 2, you will again be able to play classic levels such as School 2 and Hangar with improved HD graphics and refined game play. Manuals are now available in THPS1 levels ensuring you combo junkies out there can now get that high score in new ways. Before you panic there is also a selection of favourites from the hallowed soundtrack including Millencolin’s “No Cigar” as well as including some brand new tracks.

In keeping with the ‘old meets new’ motif of the release the multiplayer is now online where you will be able to play others at trick attack, graffiti, big head elimination and free skate. There is also Achievement/Trophy support, as well as Facebook integration in built to allow you to boast your latest score.

More content including levels and revert game play from THPS3 will be made available in the coming months.

PSN and Steam users will have to wait for the fun however, with a release scheduled for later in the summer. (We will let you know the exact date when announced)
