Darksiders II The Last Sermon trailer

THQ have today released a new cinematic live-action trailer for Darksiders II, titled The Last Sermon.

Staring Game of Thrones star James Cosmo, the story focuses on mankind’s last hours on earth after War is tricked into prematurely bringing about the apocalyps eand portrays the sequel’s protagonist, Death, in a way fans haven’t seen him before.

Jim Huntley, Vice President of Global Brand Marketing commented: “After War is imprisoned for bringing about the apocalypse, Death’s whereabouts are shrouded in mystery. The Last Sermon gives fans an idea of what he may have been up to during that time.”

Darksiders II follows the exploits of Death, one of the Four Horseman of the Apocalypse, with the story running in parallel to the events that took place in the original game.

Darksiders II is due for release on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC from August, with a Wii U version scheduled for release during the consoles launch window.
