Time to get Elite?

Activision haven’t been shy when marketing the MW3 DLC and today is no exception.

A brand spanking new video was released, which can be viewed below, giving details about the package prices, how being a n00b sucks and how to kick ass…

Staring ‘Step Brothers’ “POW” actor, Rob Riggle, the video plays out like an army recruitment video. An amusing one.

Quite simply, COD Elite members on Xbox 360 will have access to the new multiplayer maps from today; ‘Piazza and Liberation, whereas non-Elite X360, PC and PS3 gamers will have to wait for more information on release dates. With a $50 price tag for all DLC, for which there are at least “20 content drops” over the next nine months, or choose to pay $15 four times a year. Like Rob Riggle’s gran would.

Hmmm, well I’m not impressed so far.

I understand that all forms of players need to be catered for, but it seems the hardcore are being shifted out a bit. Only one hardcore mode in the Elite playlist is poor, and I really wish they’d get rid of that damn ricochet. It causes more problems then it solves. Hardcore is hardcore for a reason. /rant
