VGAs 2011
Source: Spike.com
It’s that time of year again. We are all wondering what is to be the industry’s game of the year.
We all have our own opinions, and we certainly do at Gamedot HQ. Most print and web based gaming magazines will publish their ‘end of year’ articles detailing the best and worst of 2011 and their foresight into 2012.
It’s the VGAs that is the culmination of a year sat at your console/PC. Spending those hours with your most loved release can leave you with a wanting for praise. Not only for your efforts (which comes with those shiny achievements and trophies) but for the efforts of the development teams that lovingly produced and release the titles.

There are no real suprises here, although I am sure MW3 fanboys/girls will be a little disappointed that the Call of Duty of the year did not win game of the year.
A massive congratulations to the lads and lasses at Bethesda and to Mojang for their amazing Minecraft that more than deserves ‘Best Independent’!
