Minecraft on iOS

I always had just one problem with Mojang’s Minecraft, and that was not being able to play the sandbox masterpiece when ever possible. Having a quick 10 minutes at work in stealth mode was never enough to keep away the pains of ‘crafting hunger.

That was until Mojang released Minecraft Pocket Edition on Android back in August.

It was immediately downloaded from the Android Market and I began building and scultpting whatever my imagination could muster. Fair warning though dear Gamedot readers, the ‘Pocket Edition’ is similar to the Alpha edition of Minecraft in that there are no mods, animals, timeframe, health or even mining to be had. It is simply an avenue to get your build on, or for new comers to ‘crafting to get a feel for the game.

Mojang are promising updates to follow, and with the huge reception and downloads the Pocket Edition has received, I would not have thought it will not be too far in the future.
