Playstation 2: 10 Today
While it is weird posting what is technically a birthday posting for a piece of hardware, it makes us gamers look back on how far we as gamers have come, the games we’ve played; or indeed not played. Then how far the industry as a whole has advanced. Back in March 2000 when Japanese gamers had been literally queuing around corners, it’s hard to imagine less than a decade later the same technology would allow this to fit in your pocket in the form of a PSP 3000. While it’s ‘birthday’ is happening in Japan, its US and UK equilevent won’t take place until October 26th and Novemeber 24th respectively. But let us be greatful for all the games the Playstation has allowed us as gamers to play, and the accomplished things it did to boost the gaming industry as a whole. Many returns SONY.
