Just Cause 2 doesn’t work on XP

Square Enix has confirmed the PC specs required for Just Cause 2. And if you were planning on running the game on an XP PC, you’d better think again.

The minimum specs see the OS as Windows Vista with XP being unsupported. Although in a way this isn’t a massive shock due to the age of XP, the amount of people that do still use XP over Vista (and for some reason) Windows 7 is quite large. Nearly half of our visitors for example are XP users and according to stats from Steam, around 40% of PC gamers still use XP. That’s one hell of a market share to ignore. Maybe Square Enix and Eidos are hoping (and probably expecting) bigger sales from the console market.
