Feature: January summary
A bit later than hoped due to various issues and problems we’ve had at the start of this month, but allow me to introduce one of our new features for the year, a look at the main news that has happened over the past month.
As part of the feature, the writers will also have a quick look at the main game they have been playing during the past month and also mention the one game they are looking forward to in the next.
So, what have we been playing over the past month?
Liam – I’ve just got into Assassins Creed II. After a slow start the story has really begun to grip me and I can’t get off it. I wonder if I gave the first game a fair go?
Scott – MW2 and Mass Effect 2. Still swearing at the screen with MW2 and still hating Nube Tubes. The acquisition of Booster Hunting on Free For All makes it all worth while though. And with Mass Effect 2 – I’ll save that for the review!
Adam – Mass Effect 2, no surprise really this is the best BioWare game since KOTOR. There are issues, but its the fact they delivered on the Mass Effect 1 decision promise, they do effect the game and the decisions in Mass Effect 2 are even more important than before. Game of the Year contender mark my words.
And what are we looking forward to this month?
Liam – Bioshock 2. Is it a surprise? The first was great, hopefully the second will be just as good. I can’t wait!
Scott – Bioshock – Don’t worry Rapture – Daddy will be home in just a few days…
Adam – With a few titles out this month only two stand out for me, Dante’s Inferno and later in the month the intriguing Heavy Rain. I’ve seen quite a lot of footage on this and I highly expect it to deliver.
