DSi XL confirmed

Nintendo have today confirmed the Nintendo DSi XL and its UK launch date.

You can get hold of this bigger DSi which has two 4.2 inch screens, from the 5th March. Nintendo say that these screens are 93% bigger than the screen on the DS Lite.

The DSi XL comes in two colours, Wine Red and Dark Brown, as well as with a larger stylus. Nintendo say in their press release that this will make gameplay more comfortable.

The XL will see Nintendo push digital downloads more, with full Wi-Fi capabilities as well as the game coming preloaded with Dr Kawashima’s: Little Bit of Brain Training: Arts Edition and Dictionary 6 in 1 with Camera Function. The Nintendo DSi Browser is also loaded onto the XL.

Due for release on the 5th March, no price has been announced just yet.
