Natal to launch this year?

projectnatal

Yesterday Kotaku reported that Microsoft’s Robbie Bach confirmed that the yet to be named Project Natal, would be released in time for the holiday season.

As we all know, here in the UK that could mean anything, especially as places such as Boots and Marks & Spencers begin to put Christmas stuff out in September. Officially though it means around November.

We’re still waiting to find out the motion sensors real name as Project Natal is just its working title and as of yet no games have been announced that will use the hardware.

However our very own Adam Squires predicted that Natal would see the life of day this year and that Fable III would be one of the first games to use the hardware. (See the comments section in our 2010 preview.) As the two are expected out at the same time now, that could be a very good call!
